Michael Jenson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 27, 2024.
Michael Allen Jenson
September 1, 1954 - December 24, 2024

Michael Allen Jenson, affectionately known as Mike or MJ, passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 70.

Mike grew up in the Bloomington and Richfield area, where he spent his formative years. He went on to build a career in the automotive industry, a field he was dedicated to throughout his life. He served his country in the Marine Corp during the Viet Nam war.

He is survived by the love of his life, Valerie Church; his sister, Renae Raymond; and Sadie, his beloved dog and member of his family. Mike will also be deeply missed by extended family and countless friends who cherished his presence in their lives.

Mike loved football! He could be found all fall watching college football, particularly Minnesota Gophers, and NFL. He never gave up on the Vikings! He was also a huge Twins fan. He basically loved all sports!

His dream was to move to Florida and enjoy the warm weather. Sadly we didn't have lot of time at the beaches, especially after the hurricanes!

A Celebration of Life to honor Mike will be held on Saturday, April 12, at White Funeral Home in Apple Valley from 10 am - 12 pm with a service at 11 am.

May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

I met Mike and Val bartending at the Clover years ago. We had built a relationship and soon I would see them regularly. They were always so kind and genuinely cared and wanted to know about my life as did I for them. We had some good memories. Mike you will be missed.
