Mike "Virgil" Jones was a very kind man and I´ll forever cherish the long conversation we had back in 2012. He even asked me if I wanted to take a picture with him and The Million Dollar Belt and I jumped on the opportunity. RIP Mike Jones.

I watched Mike wrestle with Ted Dibiase and on his own. I met him later in life and we became good friends. I chaired a Relay for Life event at the airport and he looked forward to helping raise money at the event every year. He always took time to talk about the old days and had great advice for my kids. Many don´t know that he had an awesome college wrestling career too! He was proud of his family and their accomplishments. He was a friend to all and will be missed! Rest in Peace Virgil!

Met Michael at Trader Jacks 7 years ago talked to him for almost an hour he was one of the nicest people I ever met I would´ve stayed there all day and chat with him but I wasn´t gonna take up anymore of his time.He was involved with some of the serious wrestling angles in the late 80s and there was standing there listening to him tell me some of the moments of his wrestling career that meant the world to him I´ll never forget that.
Rest In Peace Michael and prayers to your family and friends
