Michael Keefe Obituary
Va Beach - Michael K. Keefe, 65, passed away on July 3, 2016.
He was born in Aurora, IL, to the late Edward & Bette Keefe. Predeceased by his sister Pamela Strauch.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Margaret A. Keefe; 2 daughters, Heather Stitcher & husband Gary and Katie Brown & husband Craig; son, Michael J. Keefe & wife Jessica; sisters, Patti Derr & husband Paul, Colleen Keefe and Kathleen Tackett & husband Mike; brothers, James Keefe & wife Chris and Kevin Keefe & wife Cami; 5 grandchildren, Thomas, Sean, Dakota, Logan and Landon; along with extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel on Friday, July 15, 2016, at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com

Dear Margie,
Mary Byrnes has said it all quite beautifully. Please know that you and your family are on our minds and in our prayers. We were blessed to have had Mike as a friend, he was one of the sweetest, kindest people I have met on this life's journey. I also remember you quite well and your beautiful smile and spirit. Dear Margie, I am Mary Byrnes, I was your next door neighbor on Sheldon St., and good friend of Roseanne, before your family moved to the Westside. I was in Mike's class at St. John's when his family moved to the Southside. Ann Reap and I became fast friends of Mike's, we loved him. Anyone who was a friend of Mike Keefe's knew how special he was and how lucky they were. Finding you and Mike together in high school was, as you both were, a thing of beauty. Dear Marge and family,
I am very sad to hear of Mike's untimely passing. Although we haven't seen one another in some time, I have wonderful memories of time spent together, both in school and afterward. Mike influenced my life to a greater degree than either he or I knew, but thinking of the skills and life lessons we learned together, its obvious in hindsight. I am gifted to have had him as a friend.

Dear Margie & Family,
How sad to hear of Mike`s passing. I always wondered where life took you two. Each time I drive down Vestal Ave. I would look at that beautiful house and remember the many times I passed through that door and being greeted by Mrs Keefe. I don`t think I`ve seen Mike since Pam`s death , so long ago.
Margie, I was sorry that I missed seeing you at your Mom`s funeral. I`d would have loved to have met your children. Again,,, please accept my deepest condolences at your loss. I am proud to have called Micheal,,, MY FRIEND !
