A POEM WRITTEN BY PEGI REINTS, MIKE'S SISTER
Dear Father in heaven, hear our prayer
Our beloved Mikey is headed up there
You will know it's him by his big wide grin
with a great attitude, that's always win win!
He can take care of all the animals for you
With his gentleness of St. Francis, a gift of so few
There was not an animal that he would find
That he couldn't heal, by treating them so kind
He loves playing golf, fishing or shooting pool
With Willie Nelson or Joe Cocker blaring out sons, so cool
Keno is another of his favorite games
The winning numbers he plays are always the same
God you can rest without a care
If you want to put Mikey in charge up there
He's a take charge person with a heart of good
Any stranger on the street, into a friend he can mold
Tell him we love him and miss him too
With consolation knowing he is there with you
Thank you God for Mikey we love so dear
In our hearts Mikey, you'll always be near

Dearest Domenica (Tina),
we met two years ago and now we understand that you and your family are special people. Emigration and the events of life have separated the brothers Domenico (your father) and Tina (my mother), but probably our parents wanted us from heaven have we met. I'm sorry not to have known Michael.
I read that in his life he did very important things and he really loved his family.
We are close to you, to James and to your loved ones praying to Jesus for Michael and you.
