In memory of you and your beginning days with the (Milwaukee) Braves I took my daughter Samantha and her boyfriend (a BIG BRAVES FAN) to a Braves game yesterday in Atlanta. Hank Aaron and Ernie Banks were being presented with civil rights awards. How cool was that! AND they won against the Phillies. I'm sorry we couldn't catch up with each other but hopefully in our next life, we can share a beer or two.
I hope your fans enjoy the pics I posted in your tribute.Life back then was all about the sandlot. In your free time maybe you can start a few little league teams and get some tournaments going in the big sandlot upstairs! Find peace and enjoy your next life. Your niece....

May God bless you Mike in your next journey. I was a good friend of yours from West Allis WI. I lost contact with you fior a few years. I am sure you would have remembered the gang in WA. Jim Sagorac, Judo and Eli all who have passed on too.

Hello Nick and Rocky.

Rest in peace Mike. I will say a prayer for you when I walk the track.

Mike, I will miss you as I walk the track in Mesquite. It was there that I met you 2 yrs. ago. I regret that I didn't check your Winnebago, because I saw it sitting there. God please take care of Mike. He was so independent, practiced his walking daily, ate at the Sr.Center and loved to read. Family of Mike, I am sorry that things ended the way they did. He was a sweet man. I did try to talk him into staying with Nick and Mary in Phoenix, but he couldn't give up his Winnebago. I will really miss Mike. I loved his friendship.
