We called him TOTO ! He was my roommate for a Semester so he could play football at Midwestern State University. I loved him like a brother. He called me a few months ago to tell me how grateful he was for allowing him that opportunity. He always had a smile and laughter followed him wherever he went. I love you to the stars at back. Coach Lawrence made a difference at Winnetonka. For real, he changed lives. His quiet spirit and caring presence created an oasis for troubled and struggling students. I always admired how he helped carry students' burdens and struggles, even while carrying his own. Coach Lawrence was an influential coach, a transformative teacher, and a good man. He will be sorely missed.

The lives of everyone who knew him were touched by his goofy wit, infectious laughter, and heart that was even bigger than he was. My condolences to the whole family. Love you forever, Bass
