As a Sand Lake neighbor and friend of Mikes I was sad to recently learn of his passing. Tim, Mary, and family I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was so well liked, a real gem who has created memories for all of us to cherish. We will never forget him.

Lear family, I’m so sorry to hear this , I’m shocked. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Your dad, uncle, brother, poppa was one amazing man. Graduated high school with Mike. Remembered how much he loved to play football! He will be missed by many!

Uncle Mike you will be missed. He was always kind and brought a positive energy whenever he was around. Michelle, Mandy, and Justin my prayers and heart is with each of you. I will cherish the memories and laughs growing up working with Mike. I still smile to this day thinking of the work van banter we all shared, the silliest of moments I will always carry with me.

Michael was a year younger than me. I remember him being very shy! Until he got on his snow mobile! We were too poor to own a snow mobile and Mike must have seen me watching him ride. One day he asked me if I wanted to go with him. He scared the bejesus out of me! But that didn’t stop me from going with him a few more times. Don’t tell anyone but I had a little crush on him. I am beyond sad for his family and friends. He was a good guy. The whole Lear family were so much fun. God took him way too soon. I send love and prayers for his family, children and friends. Mike save me another ride on your snow mobile in heaven!

He is one of the most wonderful, caring, kind, and loving person I’ve ever met. He is there when I needed him. He took me and my sisters out to go swimming and get ice cream. He is amazing and will always be.
Poppop, I love you.
