Michael Shepard Leavitt

So many memories of that amazing smile. I love that I got to see all of you in Turkey and that you visited my place in Assos where I live. I always laughed a lot whenever I was around Michael. He brought fun to everywhere he went.

I imagine that Michael has been one of those rare people who acts as a real catalyst for those around them. I can offer no more sincere praise than this. What a way to touch down on this world, leaving it a bit better off.

Michael Leavitt was the friend everyone wanted to have. A man who filled his time with laughter, love, adventure, and kindness. He and Cynthia built a beautiful life together with family and friends. Eli and Eva reflect that love. Michael will be forever remembered for living such a big life and he will be forever missed.

Although I never had the full opportunity to spend time with Michael. He fought so hard and at times I feel wish I could have done more as his advocate with AHN. As we have all come to know, this is a tough disease. Michael fought with such vigor for Cyndi and himself. RIP Michael.
