I am so sad to learn about Mike's passing. I went to Penn with him and was President of St Elmos when he was President of As. I have the best memories of Mike! Oh my goodness he made me laugh. Still makes me laugh thinking about them and him. Best was when As water ballooned our house and I went to find him...he may have been holding a water balloon. I wish I had kept in touch with him because I am sure his family is wonderful and will keep his joyful spirit alive. Lots of love to you all.

We are saddened to hear of Michael´s passing. We have fond memories of Michael while he was at Kent and shared a connection with some of his family here in the Western Mountains of Maine. Our hearts go out to Michael´s wife and family. His time here on earth was far too short.
May his dear memories help your broken hearts heal.

I have so many memories of Mike on a professional and personal level. My favorite will always be when my Meredith and I went to a Brittany Spears concert with Mike about 20 years ago. We laughed the entire night. One of many we shared in those days. I will miss him and wish Meridith and the family the best.

Mike was a colleague, friend and mentor and one of the greatest people I had the pleasure to work with and know. He cared deeply about those around him and was fiercely loyal to his friends. He knew how to ask the tough questions and never stopped thinking of ways to innovate even after he left the industry to focus on his health.
I will miss my conversations with him, miss the advice he frequently gave me and miss the happiness in his voice when he talked about his family.
While he was taken way too soon, I am glad that he will no longer have to suffer through the discomfort and pain of his illness. May we all find comfort in the good memories we had with him.
Sending my deepest condolences to Meridith and the entire family.

I am so sad to lose a kind and talented golfing buddy and ex colleague. Hit them long and straight now that your suffering is over my friend. I hope time is kind to your family and friends so they cherish wonderful memories of a great life lived rather than your sad passing

Our family met Mike during our first summer at OBC, but it wasn´t until the offseason there that I really connected with him. I would bring my boys to beach comb and we were regularly greeted by Mike and his kind smile as he walked with the dogs. We were often the only people in sight and shared in our enjoyment of the cold, peaceful beauty around us. We know Mike has found greater peace, though he will be sorely missed by those who loved him, to whom we offer our sincerest condolences.
Sincerely,
Mike and Danielle Karczynski

Mike was a dear friend to myself & my daughter Mariah. We shared a love of Rowing. My favorite memory was when "Our RFH boat" crashed Mike & Meredith´s son´s Bat Mitzvah. We came from a race & the "the boat" wanted to celebrate with Mike, so celebrate we did!! He was so happy to see all of us & of course Mike, Hudson and I shut the party down in the wee early hours that night/morning. Mike showed us his Henley medal & shared all those memories from his days as a coxswain.
We loved Mike as a mentor, friend & a loyal supporter of our Rowing Team. He coached all of us, Crew, parents & our dear rowing coaches.
Rest in Peace Mike and sincerest condolences to Meredith, family & all of us who loved Mike so much as his close friends.

My condolences to Meredith and the entire family.
I had the privilege of working with Mike for several years, first at Decryptex and later at ACA Group. Mike was not just a colleague; he was a generous, intelligent, and deeply caring mentor. He was a loving husband and father whose kindness touched everyone around him.
Thank you, Mike, for all the wonderful things you did for me and the Decryptex crew, whether it was inviting the whole team to Ocean Beach Club, offering your thoughtful advice on how to approach a client, or lending a hand when we moved our office from WeWork to the World Trade Center.
Mike, you will always be remembered for the light you brought into our lives.
Your legacy will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know you.

I am so so saddened and sorry to hear this news. I met Michael during a play date Meredith and I had when our children were at Meadowflower. I became friends with Mike when he coached and mentored our son Jake at RFH rowing. During those days I would get a text from Jake at school saying "coach Mike wants to know what the water looks like". Mike worked closely with "Jakes" boat and we quickly became like a little rowing family. I can´t look out my window or hear the sound of the coaches over their megaphones on the Navesink each morning without thinking of you Mike. You will be so deeply missed. I look back on my RFH days with Jake and you were more important to both him and I than you probably ever knew. I hope I told you enough. I will smile every time I see those boats on the Navesink in gratitude and memory of you. And we will have that drink tonight, that we tried to have at RPI, but there wasn´t enough time. I hope you enjoyed many more lunches with your family at your beach all summer. My deepest condolences to those you loved and left behind. Thank you for the memories and friendship rest in sweet peace friend
