Prayers for the Litwin family. Mike was a wonderful man and devoted to Regina Coeli and his faith. He served at church numerous services and events alongside my late father Deacon George Mitchell. I remember getting big hugs and pretending to box with him when I was a little girl. His memory and wonderful spirit will live on through Regina. May eternal rest grant onto him O Lord. And may the perpetual light shine upon him.

Mr. Litwin was my CYO coach for basketball and softball when I attended Regina Coeli grade school. He and Mr. Wiciak coached us even though they didn't have daughters on the team. They each had a son in our grade. I was not a stellar athlete but Mr. Litwin always made me feel included and valued. Many many years later, I ran into him at an RC festival, and he immediately remembered that one game that I played exceptionally well. He was a good man and is a big part of my fond memories of Regina Coeli. I want to thank the Litwin family for sharing him with us. My sincerest condolences to all of you.

Mr. Litwin , along with 'Lefty', and Mr. LaPointe, we're my football coaches in 7th/8th Grade. All great influences forever attached to great memories of those years. In later years I would always see Mr. Litwin or 'Coach' as I called him working the chicken dinners at RC on Sundays. Since I worked the beer tent I always made sure I saved the coldest budweisers for Mike. God created certain men that are all around 'good guys', selfless with their time, involved in their church and family and always ready to help. Coach Litwin was one of them. Rest in peach 'Coach', you deserve it (Hopefully, you'll find that old polish song 'In Heaven there is no beer" a myth!) God Bless.

So sorry for the family's loss of which I am a part of- Michael's father was my great uncle. My mother Stella ( Galus) Rogers was his niece. My mom often talked about both her Uncle Mike and Mikeal,Jr. Whom she would run into from time to time as I would. We always joked about Michael's dad because you always knew when he was coming to my grandmother and great- grandmother s (Katherine Litwin's house because of the cigar smoke. My busia wouldn'tt let him smoke past the front porch on Pearl St. I remember your dad , Michael Jr as we called him as a giving an$ kind man. My Aunt Lottiewouldrun into him at McDonald's and he came to my mom's funeral st St. Adelbert's. She was 90. My husband and I moved out here to Wa state to be near our kids and grandsons. I have given a little family history as you might not know it.
May he rest in heavenly peace along with his parents, brother and other Gauls and Littwin family members who have gone before.
My prayers are with you all at this time.
