Its been 7 yrs, I think about him all the time.. He taught me how to build ukuleles and Ive had my hand in building 6, working on the 7th...
One thing he told me that he wanted me to do, was to remember him... I told him I would never forget him, how could I?
Whenever Im working on a uke in my shop or playing a song on one I think about him..
I have some of his tools.. whenever I pick one up.. I think about him... He was the kind of person you cant forget...
Im proud to be part of his family.. We all miss him.
Its just a short time that we have here, its gone in the blink of an eye..Make the most of it, like my Father-in-Law Mike did...
Its too bad ezfolk no longer hosts musicians the way they use too.. the link I posted before is no longer functioning...
There are some Youtube videos of Mike performing at the Oasis Senior Center still I believe if you want to hear him... :) here's the link to one..

He was my Father-in-Law and I cant tell you how much I miss him.
He always brought a smile to my face, and now along with the smile there are tears. Dad, I think about you everyday.

Mr. Lombardi was possibly the greatest principal EVER!! He loved his kids and was stern when he needed to be but was a friend when it was needed also. He will be forever loved and missed.

As my junior high principal at Fitz, Mr. Lombardi was my first example of an authority figure who had a both sense of humor and the ability to keep order. He truly cared for his students and I hope he and his family always knew what a positive role model he was. The Lombardi family will be in my thoughts.

Mr. Lombardi was such a great Principal at Fitz! He always had something positive and enlightening to share with the students. I remember being in 8th grade and we made a bet. Each year tehe 8th grade students played the faculty ina softball game upon graduation. We made a bet that the team who lost had to buy McDonald's Big Mac's for the loosing team...We were rained out! A great and fun memory! We will miss you Mr. Lombardi...Rest in Beautiful Peace. Deana Linderholm, Los Amigos 1986

Truly sorry to hear about Mr. Lombardi. He was a good friend. I once took a group of drama students to his school and did a presentation to try and encourage his graduating students to enter the drama program at Los Amigos high school. We used all kinds of guns with blanks and shot up the place. It was hilarious the fun that we had, but we could never do that in today's time. Mike and I had many good laughs about that, for some time. He always invited me back to put on an assembly for him. We both retired together. A truly great man.

I remember when you tried to break up an awful fight between 2 boys at Fitz Elementary.....You had a cookie in your mouth during the whole fiasco. I was only 11 yrs old at the time, but I thought you were a hero because of that... :) You were loved, you will be missed.....

In memory of Michael Lombardi, a real influence in my life, my family's life and my career as a teacher. It was always great sharing antics about my job with Uncle Mickey and laughing about just about anything. God Bless you and give you peace and love.
To Mickey's Family, I am so sorry for your loss and look forward to celebrating Mickey's life tomorrow at the memorial. I will always remember the family get togethers when I was a kid and how much I enjoyed watching my Dad (Junior) and Mickey talking. God Bless you.
In Sympathy,
Linda

Uncle Mickey,
You will be missed!
I remember visiting you as a young child, seeing you at the harbour and remembering your vibrant and lively personality. You brought a smile to everyone that was around you. I am sure you are now in Heaven, partying it up with your family and friends that have arrived before your final destination. Thank you for the wonderful memories and I am sure I will see you again some day. You will be truly missed by so many! Love you always!
