Michael J. Magoon

Michael J. Magoon, 48, of Manchester, NH, died suddenly February 26, 2005, at his camp on Trio Pond, O’Dell, NH.

Born in Manchester, NH on June 28, 1956, he was the son of Walter E. and Shirley (DeNutte) Magoon, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mr. Magoon graduated from Manchester Memorial High School Class of 1974.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator with KeySpan for twenty-two years.

Mr. Magoon was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.

He enjoyed outdoor activities at his lakeside camp, especially fly fishing, fly tying and snowmobiling. He was avid golfer and Harley-Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast.

In addition to his mother of Manchester, family members include his son, Andrew J. Magoon of Hooksett, NH, his daughter, Molly E. Magoon of Hooksett, NH; three sisters, Linda Gromko of Manchester, Susan Magoon of Manchester, and Mrs. Paul (Sherry) Paradis of Pembroke, NH; three nieces, five nephews, an uncle and several cousins.

In his life: He was predeceased by two brothers, Walter "Butch" Magoon and Calvin "Buddy" Magoon.

Services: Calling hours are Monday from 4 to 8 PM at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, corner of Concord Street, Manchester, NH.

The funeral will be held Tuesday from the funeral home at 10:15AM, followed by a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, Manchester.

Burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
