Michael William Maxwell

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father, son and brother, Michael Maxwell (46 yrs old) who passed away on October 3rd, 2023.

He is survived by his daughters Lori and Nikki Maxwell; (former spouse, Kelly Maxwell); parents John and Barbara Maxwell, brother David (Christina) Maxwell, sister Melissa (Jeremiah) Zimmer, and brother Jason (Margaret) Maxwell, and (9) nieces and nephews (Arianne, Nicholas, Samuel, Beatrice, Delaney, Evelyn, Oliver, Georgia and Tessa) who loved him deeply. Michael grew up in Clarendon Hills, IL where he attended Hinsdale Central High School. He later attended Eastern Illinois University and the College of DuPage. He shared his passions of fishing, cooking, boating, automobiles, and listening to Jimmy Buffet with his family regularly. He had an affinity for rescued animals, which he took part in with his adoption efforts on several occasions. His career in the food service industry allowed him to live his passion daily. His sense of humor was a treat for anyone within earshot, and he loved to make people laugh.

Safely Home

Michael will be fondly remembered privately where his imprints on this world will be forever engraved in our minds. Our family is grateful to know that Michael is finally at peace. Fair winds and following seas, Michael. Until we meet again.
