Michael McManus Obituary
Michael J. McManus (age 66) On Monday, July 28 at his residence in Warrenton, VA. Mr. McManus was retired from the US Navy with 20 years of service and then he worked at ATandT for an additional 20 years. He was an avid golfer, runner,gardener, antique dealer and a volunteer at Fauquier Hospital Infusion Center in Warrenton, VA.
He is survived by his beloved wife Bobby of Warrenton and son Thomas M. McManus of Wilmington, NC. Three stepchildren; Cynthia J. Miller, Lineboro, MD, Phillip J. Miller, Sunset, FL and Wren H. Miller, San Francisco, CA. Siblings John B. MaManus, Chadds Ford, PA and Joan E. Bourgeault, Downington, PA. Two grandchildren, Meghan F. Miller and Annabelle Miller and great grandchild Gabriel M. Miller.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 7-9pm at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, VA. with a Prayer Service at 7:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, August 1, at 10:30A.M, 2008 at St. John's Catholic Church, 271 Winchester St., Warrenton, VA. Interment with military honors will be in Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper, VA.
Memorials may be made to the Warrenton Volunteer Fire and Rescue, 159 Moffett Ave., Warrenton, VA 20186.
