Dear Michael.... I have been thinking about you lately, and I had not seen you since you were a little guy. Am comforted in the thoughts of your innocence in which you were born, is the innocence in which you are enjoying in eternal rest.
You did what you knew how to. You were always a light, and had a kind smile. May you bask in The Lords care now, for you are held safe forever in his Loving arms, and left only to be touched by his Loving hands. Be safe in your eternal rest.

I am spending this first Sunday of the Lenten Season 2011 in reflection of the past year. I am certain that you are aware, as I have so painfully discovered, your presence is sorely missed.
The 2010 hunting season was not quite the same without you. We surely pined for your anecdotal humor. Likewise, your calming influence when political discussions occasionally leapt out of control around the evening campfire was conspicuously absent.
I might also mention that I inherited your duty to down all the birds that your dad misses, and subsequently claims as his own. I am doing my best; but must admit I cannot maintain your phenomenal ratio.
I miss you.

I was Michael's classmate from sibley graduation year 2002. I always remember him being so nice and friendly. He would always say hi to me even though we never talked that much... He always had a smile on his face-always. He always had a glow about him. It really saddens me to hear this news. You are in my prayers, he will be missed deeply.
