Fr. Michael MORAHAN

Michael was a friend during our secondary school years at Villanova, and he always struck me as a most gentle and perceptive soul. I last saw him at our 40th anniversary year dinner, and was so impressed at how he had dedicated his whole life to benefit others. Now he can give the angels a hand to remodel the Library and add some new classrooms.

Michael was a friend during my primary school, and occupied that wonderful place of "best friend" for my entire secondary schooling.

Our lives diverged when Michael entered the Seminary, and we lost touch over time - though my family continued to let me know what Michael was doing.

I had long had the hope that when we both reached more mature years we would get together and "compare notes" over our respective lives, but fate has so unexpectedly intervened.

My care and sympathy to all who were close to Michael - I am myself somewhere between numb and devastated.
