Michael "Mike" MOROZ

Mikey was a chatty fellow. He always had something to say about something. But that's it. He always had something to say about his friends. RIP Mikey.

I was lucky enough to get to meet Mike about 6 months ago. We had some great conversations and I really enjoyed getting to know him! He told me his story. I know life had thrown a lot at him. With all his pain and trauma, he was still able to smile, joke and be kind. He truly did have a heart of gold.

Mikey..........thank you for our time together. I hope you have found peace. Good bye my friend. Thank you for the rocks. They are on my windowsill. I will think of you every time I see them. I have some in my truck that I was going to give you the next time I seen you. They will stay where they are as a reminder to be thankful.

George and Mary, I am thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

Mike and I crossed paths coming up to one year ago. He is a kind hearted, intelligent, compassionate, hardworking beautiful soul that was always willing to share parts of his journey with me. From early morning swims during childhood, to hearing about George’s dedication to the gardens on the family’s property (specifically the round about in the neighborhood), experiences while being a carpenter, to spending time on the water around the Muskoka’s, past friends and family memories, he was constantly looking out for others among other admirable qualities.

Mike will be missed for his sense of humour, regular visits, finding beautiful pieces of wood (working with wood - he was so talented!) and chats.

I am thankful for having the opportunity to meet and get to know Mike over these months. He’s made a lasting impact!

May he be at peace.

I wanted to reach out and express my thoughts and prayers and wish you nothing but peace. I knew Mike while he was in Owen Sound, he was so talented, kind, and was always good for a joke or good conversation. I'll be thinking about you in the this very difficult time.

I known Mike for a few years he was a multi talented guy who taught me alot as well I also taught him things. I will quite often think of Mike on things he taught me. God Bless you Mike may you rest in price. My condolences to the entire family. From Bob and Brenda Burke of Owen sound
