Michael S. Morse, age 31, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023. Born March 30, 1991 to Francine and Kevin Morse, Michael was raised in Wheaton, IL and studied Communication and Media at DePaul University. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, friend, and fur-dad to his adored dog, Dwight, who became his shadow.
Michael was smart, witty, clever, creative and full of energy. He had passions for playing piano, music production, cooking, managing restaurants, and most of all making others smile. He aspired to open an establishment of his own. Michael was able to light up a room just by walking in and having a conversation with you, one that made you feel seen, heard and special.
He is survived by his parents Francine and Kevin Morse of Wheaton, who loved him beyond words, brother, best friend and his person, Matthew Morse, loving sisters Deanna (Brian) Jones, Carie (Anthony) Svoboda, Michele (Chris) Heath, nephews Nicholas Perry, Ethan Svoboda, Liam Heath, nieces Ella and Taelyn Svoboda, Avary Heath, Stephanie Staneart, Danielle Jones and Grandmother Murn Morse.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Carmella and Frank Mangano and Stephen Morse.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a future date.
“When he shall die,
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun.”
― William Shakespeare

Michael was a part of my family when he and Danielle dated. Michael would light up a room with his smile. He had a kind and loving heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Morse family at this very sad and difficult time. Michael will always hold a special piece of my heart.

I’m so sorry for your devastating loss, we are praying for you all as you move through this time together. May God’s blessings and loving arms of friends and family be your comfort. I remember when he figured out my secret ingredient in my Mac and cheese at one of Avary and Liam’s birthday parties❤ He was funny, Smart and sweet.
Hugs to you all, Nanny Lisa, JC and Bear
