Michael R Mortell

Mortell, Michael R. of Belfast, ME, passed away on December 3, 2022 after a courageous battle with heart disease. Michael was born on August 12, 1962, to Marie F. O'Brien and Robert J. Mortell Jr. in Weymouth. Michael grew up in Hingham MA and is survived by his mother, Marie O'Brien of Halifax MA, and his father Bob and stepmother Linda Mortell of Hanson, MA. Michael is also survived by his siblings; Barbara Nilosek and her husband Dave of Wells, ME, Theresa Gordon and her husband James of Hingham, MA, Tammy Doherty and her husband Joseph of Weymouth, MA, John Mortell of Crested Butte, CO and Judy Mortell of Pembroke, MA. Michael also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
