I will always remember Dr. Mumma. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He was also a gifted interventionalist. I recently needed his help but sadly no one locally was up to the task. I had to travel to Orlando. I really miss my friend and trusted cardiologist. He saved my life twice. RIP Mike

I'd like to express how much I miss my friend and cardiologist Dr. Michael Mumma. I recently had some cardiac issues after COVID. I am facing open heart surgery and really am struggling with finding a cardiologist to take the place of Dr. Mumma. Then I realized that he is not replaceable. From his calm, reassuring demeanor to his extremely high skill level in the Cath lab, he was one of a kind. I feel privileged to have known him. I could really use his skills right now. I think about him very often. People like him only come around once in a great while. I really miss seeing him. Rest in peace my friend.

Dr. Mumma was my cardiologist and long standing friend. I am an icu nurse so I do a lot of research before choosing. I also have 5 stents. Dr. Mumms was a beautiful person and excellent doctor. He was very unique in that he respected me and always included my input in forming my plan of care. I know I can never replace him... I'll miss seeing his reassuring face and smile. I have missed him tremendously and will continue to do so. Deepest sympathies to his family. I know you have lost a truly great man..

What a remarkable student of so many different things. I worked with him in training at Wake Forest and always admired his ability to master so many different things. I remember him learning to fly remote control planes long before he piloted planes. My fondest memory of him was earning the high score on our favorite pinball machine at Schrocks. I know he went on to greater success in many things more important than pinball but to me it demonstrated his desire to succeed in whatever he undertook. Rest In Peace fellow Blue Devil

So sorry to hear about Michael's passing. I went to school with Michael since elementary school and grew up in Orefield with him. Last time I got to see him was at one of the class reunions for Parkland High. He was always a good guy. Will keep you all in my prayers.

Mike was always very responsive to my calls concerning patients I was caring for and helped me countless times in the emergency medicine department at Sarasota Memorial. He did his duty and he did it with dignity. My condolences to his family

When Mike was relaxing from his studies at Duke University, he was a brilliant saxophonist for local Durham band, One Real Band. He set a bar that as his successor, I strived to meet every time out. I didn't know him all that well, but I knew he was a special person. I was honored to replace him and saddened to hear that he's no longer with us. Prayers, Blessings and Condolences to his family. Rest In Paradise, my sax brother.
