Michael Frederick "Mike" Myers

Michael Frederick Myers Battle Creek, Michigan 2/9/51 – 4/18/21 There is a hole in the heart of our family with the loss of our best-loved "Mike" – husband, brother, uncle, in-law, advisor, fixer, golfer, camper, fisherman, and all-around good guy. Retired after 28 years from the State of Michigan, he was the supervisor of building & grounds maintenance at Kellogg Air National Guard Base. Battle Creek was home for most of his life. Mike is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years; Helen M. (Burke) Myers, Pennfield Township; and sister, Arden (Myers) Shaw of Bloomfield Hills, MI. He was preceded in death by parents, Frederick G. Myers of Battle Creek and Sherry A. (Myers) Repke of Albuquerque, NM; and brothers, David of Otero, NM and Brian of Atlanta, GA. A graveside service for the immediate family has been held. If desired, memorials may be made in Mike's name to the local chapter of the American Cancer Society and, to honor Mike's love for the sport of golf – First Tee [www.firsttee.org], a charitable youth organization.
