Betsy,
Mike was truly my best friend and my hero. He fought the cancer battle with such conviction. He couldn't have done it without the love and support he got from you. You made sure he had everthing he needed and wanted. I will be forever grateful for what you did for my brother. In my eyes Betsy, you are as much a hero as Mike.
You will always hold a special place in my life.

I am so sorry you have to endure this kind of pain, loss and heartache. I miss him so much. And I love you, pretty lady, for all the joy you gave him. Forever your sister, Susan

Betsy, Brian and I are sorry to hear of Mike's death. I can still see his picture in your office and when I asked you who that handsome State Trooper was, you said, "That's Mike, my husband!" Then you smiled one of your contagious smiles! May you always have memories of your unconditional love and friendship for each other. No words can take away your pain but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
With our deepest sympathy,

I am so so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. I also lost the love of my life to cancer, and although it been 17years, there is not a day that goes by that I do not think of my soulmate.
I met the Pearson family when I was in the 3rd grade, and loved them all. I wish I could have made it to the survice, I didn't find out until that afternoon. I am thinking of you all.

Betsy,
Michael was a great person and friend and he will be forever missed. We know that your heart is broken and wish that there was something we could do or say to make that pain go away, but only time will help. And though your pain will never 'go away' it does change and in time you will be able to smile at your memories of Michael.
Love,

OUR BROTHER TO SUFFER NO MORE
A Trooper stands ready,
Maine's citizens he protects.
A wife at home,
he never forgets.
Crimes and destruction,
the victims he calms.
Missing holidays with family,
but he has no qualms.
For a Trooper's family,
always put to the test,
stands strong behind him.
He's one of the best.
Mike Pearson was one,
a Warrior, among others.
A Maine State Trooper,
Together, always Brothers.
On Earth, his pain,
with dignity, he bore.
In Heaven our Brother,
to suffer, no more.
Rest in Peace, Mike. Our sympathies to the Pearson family.

When I think of the phrase "Maine State Trooper" Mike's name and face will always come to mind. Mike told everyone that all he wanted to do was be a Trooper and although his dream was cut short I was privileged to work with Mike and watch him enjoy that dream. For those of us whose lives Mike touched we will forever be better persons. Let the smiles of the memories help with the grief of the loss. We will remember you always.
