Mike, as he had his students address him, was my teacher in Henry Lord. I will forever remember him and his advice. He sure did have a way for finding the good and positive in every situation and person. I remember being in class and we were having a class discussion about an awful event that took place. I was very upset and slightly crying. I couldn't understand the pain and why people cause terrible pain. He comforted me and during his comfort he told me that for as much hurt, pain & suffering there is in the world, that just as much love and healing is present. He taught me more than English. He impacted my young life with words of wisdom and life lessons that I still remember and often reflect on. Mike was an extraordinary teacher, one that influenced many young lives. I was blessed to have Mike as a teacher.
I am "playing the game" Mike.

Remember Michael from our EB days. He lived in the "Projects" and I on London St. My Fitton School chum. Holy Redemer parish. Michael was a good guy. My deepest sympathies to his family. A little piece of him lives on in the hearts of those that he touched. Pax old friend.

We've known Mike since 1966, our freshman year in college at Bridgewater. Anyone who knew him reserved him a place in their heart, earned by his very open, welcoming nature. It´s not easy to forget his face, always wreathed in smiles of welcome. But it was his heart, open to all who needed him that brought him his loyal friends.
We send his wife, Jeanette, our condolences and the luck to recall only the precious memories.
