Michael was a super roll model for a car kid in Watertown. He was just so nice to me and tough with me to teach me. From 1966 to 1969 I went to his shop in the morning before classes started. I was like a sponge sucking up tons of his knowledge. Lessons I’ve used all my life. We called each other silly nick names in fun, the world needs more Michael Pilato’s. I am blessed to call him a friend

Mike was one of the nicest guys especially

to do business with. I could not thank him

enough for his kindness when I had a car

issue. I will miss him and am deeply sad.

Mike was a frequent visitor to my parts store on Main Street Tewksbury. His presence, his stories and experiences in the hobby will be missed. He was the most impressive restorer I have ever met. His workmanship was no less than impeccable. His talents were extraordinary. PV ANTIQUE & CLASSIC FORD, INC.
