Mike was a competitor; one with the will to train for excellence on and off the field. He was willing to share with others in building personal relationships that he desired to have with you. One memory that resonates is the blessing of winning the Young Men's Christian Softball Championship in the State of Texas. Mike enjoyed all the action at short-stop. But a more important gift that Mike shared was not sports-related, but the gift of sharing and caring for others. He delivered food, as a leader for Meals-on-Wheels to the needy and even to my grandparents in their elderly state. Mike, thank you for your enduring spirit to never quit. "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works." Heb.10:24 See you again Mike on the diamond.
In Christ
Richard

He was something else to grow up with and I will miss him dearly.
From 5th grade when he moved here til I moved out of state we were the best of friends through thick and thin, marriage, death, divorce and everything that goes with it.
We were there for each other.
His work at Meals on Wheels touched so many lives.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him - except all the umpires and referees around the world.
Rest In Peace love ya, Dance
