When I think about Mike, I have to smile. He had a very "interesting" sense of humor which I really liked. We worked together on a Navy project in San Diego which required us to spend a couple of days a week over there. after we finished our days work, we tried out the little restaurants that were most popular with the natives....not so much the tourists. I remember once after dinner saying in jest "Shall we go dancing now?" Then we had an " argument" over whose turn it would be to be the "girl". Mike was tall, so I said he had to wear "flats".....and so on. Of course, this was all just nonsense, but Mike's drole smile and laugh was fun to be around.

Bonnie, I am so sorry that I could not be there to see Mike before he passed. I was out of the country and didn't hear about anything till returning to Phoenix on February 11. I hope you know how much I always enjoyed Mike, and his dry wit. Working with him for years was a positive experience, as he was very talented and creative. Although I hadn't seen him since my retirement a couple of years ago, I do miss him, and sadly will always remember him and smile.

How wonderful to have had the love that Bonnie and Mike had. It is so sustaining and will grow with the memories they had.

I was so fortunate to have had the chance to get to know Mike and work with him on educational projects at ART Architects between 2004 and 2007. He was a very talented architect and a perfectionist in all his architectural detailing. I enjoyed his very kind nature and dry humor.
