On March 29, 2017 our beautiful brother Michael A. Rivero, 47, passed away at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Born on 12/4/1969 in Mexico City, Mexico, and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Michael was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. A former student of Arizona State University and a small business entrepreneur, Michael also loved animals and sports, especially his beloved Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Cardinals. Michael only lived in Nampa, Idaho for a few months, his true home was Phoenix, AZ. Michael is survived by his young son, his father, stepmother, his brothers and sisters, and countless cousins, nieces, and nephews. As Michael's family deals with this tragic loss and the many unanswered questions, they find comfort knowing that Michael is in God's hands and is surrounded by his mother, his beloved aunt, and his grandmother. Beautiful Michael, you were so strong and brave and you will be greatly missed.

Services for Michael will take place in his hometown of Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Michael's name to the Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA.

Long Live my Pops ya dig im still on that mission even though it was never something easy for a parent to hear because theres so much more life to live but my parents taught me to be different not a follower I know its gonna take time but Im on the right track to being where I need to be but Im thankful I have time to enjoy the process of becoming who I need to be thank you dad and mom for this beautiful life I live and am appreciating more every day

Your Hey kiddo will always play in my mind when I think about you. Your positive influence and words weve shared continue to influence my life even today. The last time we spoke you told me that dad had said he was very proud of me. I truly believe it was you who wanted to say you were proud of me. As a family, we have lost a very special person and are left with a void in our hearts which can never be filled. I will forever cherish our trips to Vegas and California (Disneyland especially) and talks of our favorite restaurants. If you only knew how much those little moments with you mattered to me. As I continue to try and make sense of all of this, I find some comfort knowing that you are surrounded by loved ones. You are safe, you are at peace. I am grateful for the knowledge of Eternal families and that one day we will be reunited. I love you, Mike. I'll love you forever I'll like you for always As long as I'm living My brother you'll be.

I hadn't seen you in years, my friend, but thought of you so often, and always with a smile on my face.
