Michael Rogers Obituary
He was born in Oneonta on Dec. 29, 1953, the son of Donald Rogers and Mercy (Asquith) Rogers.
He had worked as an air-conditioning technician.
He had resided in the Laurens area for the past seven years and had formerly lived in Florida. Mike lived a fun and fast life, including the Dixie Dash.
He is survived by his soulmate, Ana-Marie Blasetti, of Oneonta; his mother, Mercy Rogers, of Orlando, Fla.; his father, Donald Rogers, of Lake Mary, Fla.; a sister, Donna Ward and husband Mark, of Loxahatchee, Fla.; a daughter, Tara Rogers and grandson, Kaidin, of Lake Mary, Fla.; and a good friend and bodyguard, Nick Marte of Oxford; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be no calling hours and memorial services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.johnstonfh.com. Arrangements are by the Johnston Funeral Home of Morris.

I knew Mike and his Dad foe a number of years. Mike was a good friend to me and my son, Shawn. I am sorry for your loss and know how much you miss him. I hope you find peace Mike.

All my prayers for you. All my life (and before), the Rogers family has been a huge part of my life.I love you all and have always felt like part of your family. Mikey was a true GENTLEMAN. He was also one of those people that always put a smlie on your fcae, no matter what. Farewell to one of my great friends, you will be missed. Godspeed

Mike was a good friend to our family and especially to me. We spent alot of time on the farm together. Mike always said he never had too long to live, so he lived his life in the fast lane. There was no life expierence that passed him by. He lived each day as there would be no tomorrows. Mike will be missed by all of us who knew him so well. God Bless you, Brother. You made the world a better place for all of us who shared a drink, a smoke and a joke with you.
