Michael Scott "Mike" Roorbach

Mike (and Karen) have positively impacted so many lives, including mine. So blessed to have called him friend. His positive attitude should be modeled by all.

Mike was a wonderful Christian man. He was a great friend and neighbor, and we had many fun times together. The trips to Cubs games and the 2013 IWU Sports Blitz were special. He lived a full life and accomplished much. I am happy that he is now rejoicing in Heaven with no pain.

One of the best men I ever had the honor of knowing.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Karen and the Roorbach family. Knowing Mike and serving with him at Houghton Academy was a special time and the Roorbach family will always have a special place in the Academy's story. Mike and I shared serious times working together promoting the Academy's ministries and many fun times with such things as playing tennis and working on the annual program to roast the Seniors. We laughed, cried, and prayed together. Sorry I will not be able to join you in celebrating Mike's life on the 14th but Donnie and I will be with you in spirit. May God bless you all.
