RUMP II, MICHAEL U."Mike" Freeland Mike passed away suddenly, Sunday, September 8, 2019. Mike was a loving husband, father, son, and a friend to many. He was born March 18, 1971 to Michael Rump and Debbie Burns. On August 16, 2002, he married the love of his life Colleen M. Rabie, she survives him. His greatest gifts were his two sons: Connor Michael and Liam Robert, and he also found much joy in his beloved dog Leo. He is also survived by his parents; Michael (Janis) Rump and Debbie (Arnie) Burns, two brothers; Frank (Katie) Rump, Tyler Rump, sister; Mindi Bannan, Great-Grandma; Gladys Rump, Mother-in-law; Donna M. Rabie and her friend; Grady Letner, Brothers in-law; Roy (Lisa) Rabie, Russell Rabie, Sister in-law; Kimberly (Dave) Sutter and many nieces, nephews and best friend; Jesse (Tammie) Ramos. Previously deceased and waiting for him in his heavenly home are grandparents; Elizabeth (Frank) Katzler, Urban George Rump, father in-law; Robert Rabie, Sr. Brother-in-laws; Robert Rabie, Jr. and Daniel L. Kelley, Sr. Mike was a very caring, compassionate, man with a big heart. He kept busy with many things including helping his neighbors, coaching his sons in baseball and football, and even stopping to feed treats and pet the neighborhood dogs. His being a stay-at-home dad gave him the opportunity to volunteer his time at the school with his boys at parties and many other events. He took immense pride in his work and gave 100% in everything he did. Mike had the education, talent, and academic training to do it all. He was a licensed plumber, electrician and mechanical contractor and a member of the Local 85 Plumbers and Steamfitters. In his spare time, he loved watching the History and Military channels, late night snacking, and took considerable pride in tinkering and fixing things A memorial funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2019, at St. Agnes Catholic Church (Johnson & Lewis Streets-Freeland). Rev. Fr. Andrew LaFramboise will officiate. Honoring Mike's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until time of Mass. A luncheon at the church will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to a scholarship fund for Michael's boys.
