Roselyn Joyce Standiford, 90, of Fort Wayne, peacefully passed away on November 1, 2018 at Coventry Meadows. She was born on February 27, 1928 in Fort Wayne to the late Martin and Edith (Boveine) Kinerk. She was a graduate of Elmhurst high school. She retired from GTE after being a purchasing manager for many years. She was an avid reader and euchre player. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children. Dan (Jan) Standiford, Martin (Gisela) Standiford, and Diane (Karenlee) Standiford; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in passing by her parents; sister, Beatrice Henschen; and brothers, Clifford and Homer Kinerk. Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Roselyn's memory may be made to Waynedale United Methodist Church; and Alzheimer's Association.

I have fond memories of Aunt Rosie. I remember she lived right next door on Lincoln Ave to Aunt Vi and Grandma. I remember she had a German Shepherd named Wolf. I remember she would draw lines around her cigarettes as a stop point to cut back on smoking. I remember her always have a twinkle in her eye and a Mona Lisa smile. She never really said much that I can remember, but you could tell she was always thinking. My deepest condolences to Marty, Danny and Diane. I have fond memories of you guys too. Rest In Peace Aunt Rosie.
