Michael Self

Michael was one of the sweetest students I have ever had. He ALWAYS made me smile, for one reason or another. I smile today, believing that he is in glory with our Father. I pray that his family is comforted today, knowing that Michael is eternally loved.

I remember that Friday may 20th we was on the bus and i said hey Michael and waved you said hey i kept saying hey and waving until you waved and that one time we was making serious faces to see who laughs first and of course it was me i laughed first lol but i miss you like crazy Michael Worley. :)

It has been 5 month almost 6 but Michael i think about you every second of every day till the day i die its different without you here with us but i will always know you might not be here but you will always be in my heart and i remember all those times on the bus those were some good times i love you Michael Worley Self and miss you very very very much. catch a big one for me buddy.

I taught Michael for several years in Music at Parker Elementary. He was a mannerly, respectable and sweet student. So sorry for this family's loss.

So very sorry for your great loss! Michael for the few times I was around him was a ray of sunshine that lite up a room with his smile and he always had one!! May the God of ALL Glory wrap His arms around each of you and carry you through this time and all the days to follow!! Many, many prayers and MUCH love is going up for all of you!!

I am so sorry for your loss Teri. He was a very respective young man. Micheal and Aaron had a lot of fun together.I wish they could have spent more time together. Yalls house was the first house that I let Aaron go to. He love it. He got to go to the sale barn with Micheal and fell in love with the sale barn Aaron still talks about it. Aaron does not know what to say. So I am saying everything for him.

Terri and Jim, my heart Is so heavy for y'all. I was teaching with Frankie Jarrell in Head-Start our first year and Michael was in our class. I also had in later years in the Success Lab at Parker. Our hearts are heavy and it's always so hard to understand why these things happen. Only God knows. May y'all feel his love and peace. Just wanted y'all to know that Michael was loved by so many.

I was at The church with my Granddaughter Philicity Chennault at one one thr Chuck Wagon cook off. Michael & friends rode up in that mini stage coach to talk to us! Always with smile!

Michael was dear to me and I wish I knew how to express my condolences in a way that would bring comfort and peace to your hearts. I know that the Lord is able, though. Rely on him for strength.

We just don't know what our Lord has in store for our lives, but HE will never allow us to go through anything without HIM by our side. Our hearts are broken as I write this. Mike and I remember seeing how excited Michael would get at Hannah's sports events when we were there supporting Robyn. He was such a sweet boy that obviously grew into a sweet young man. That smile of his was contagious and brightened the room. We are praying for God's unexplainable peace and comfort for all of you! God wanted Michael early so now he is looking down on his family. Love you!

Hi my name is Rosella Beck and I knew Michael Self from my childhood past. He was one AMAZING friend, and an excellent hearer! I am so sorry for your loss and once I saw him and then I read the comment saying that he had died really made me sad because I spent a lot of time with him before I had left texas. And my brother Austin was one of his best friends before Austin had moved also. Austin doesn't know about Michael but I will tell him soon once I have contact him but im sure he will tell lots of memories that he had with Michael .. I knew Michael since we were very little and knowing that he passed it made me cry but I know that he has passed into a great leaders hands, and that is our heavenly father. I am praying that everything goes well and I will miss him dearly and so will Austin! it's sad to think that someone can be gone just like that and all of a sudden you're getting messages that finally notice him and what is going on in your lives, but I am here because I want to let ya'll know that it will be hard to have lost your loved one and not being able to see them but it will get better! I promise! I know it will always hurt day by day but I know that god will always be by your side to be there for you and to always hold you when you don't think no one else will!! please send me photos of the funeral on my email thank you so much!!
