I will always remember how you could make us laugh Michael as we gathered for the holidays or even when would just stop over. Also remember how you would play your guitar too. I hope you and Gabrielle have gotten together up in heaven and have been able to laugh as well. Peace and love to you cousin.

I first met Houb in 1972. He lived across the street and I sat on my porch one day and watched this guy roar down his driveway in reverse in a white Ford Falcon station wagon. He would hit the brakes just before he went into the street, then he would start all over again. I went over and introduced myself and he told me he had just changed out his brakes and was adjusting them. He was an excellent mechanic and worked with me on my cars many times. He was an even-tempered, reasonable-minded person and sometimes I thought he was the only adult in the room. I moved from Ann Arbor and in those days without internet or cellphones, when you changed locations you lost track of people. I´ve thought about Houb many times over the years and I am so sorry that I didn´t make a greater effort to reconnect.

I knew Mike many years ago in Ann Arbor , we worked together at Domino pizza. I loved his sense of humor and we shared many laughs. I have remembered him all through the years and was very sad to find his obituary. What a great guy.

Dawn and John , So sorry for your loss, I saw this last week, but we were out of town then. Sorry we couldn't be there. I have many fond memories of Mike at boy scout camp and events. He always had funny story or joke to tell and was always the optimist. He will surely be missed.

I worked with Mike for several years at MARCO and enjoyed his quirky sense of humor. We were a family and Mike was a special person in that family. Condolences to his family.

I spent a few years of good times with Houb way back in the day. Then our paths diverged and recently I spent some time trying to find him on social media. With great sadness, I finally found him on this obituary.
