Carol,
Leo and I were sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was incredibly kind to both of us when we joined the staff at Forbes. A brilliant man, he would help anyone with a clinical problem. Always the "go to person" when there was a difficult urologic case. He was widely loved and respected. And anyone who knew him, knew that he adored his wife and family.

Haves so many great memories working for him at the FR office. The Christmas party we had at the Braddock General Hospital gym was so much fun, we laughed about that for many years. He always came in with a smile on his face. Fond memories. So sorry for your loss Carol and family.

We are extremely saddened by Mike Shaughnessy's passing. We remember him as a happy caring man. Mike appeared at our wedding reception to hand us a gift of a check then at Webster Hall Hotel where we had our reception following Mass across at St. Paul's Cathedral. He was my extern then at Pittsburgh Hospital. We saw him often during residency training at Allegheny General Hospital. He was a happy, congenial person encountering him at Forbes Regional. Prayers for the eternal repose of Mike's soul.

Mike really knew how to enjoy life. He had a wonderful sense of humor we enjoyed many good times in his company and we will remember him that way..Our deepest sympathy to his family

We will all miss Mike. He was always quick with a story or a laugh. He brought a lot of happiness and sunshine to the workplace. It was a privilege to work with him. My sincerest sympathies to Carol and family.

Sincere sympathy. I always respected Dr. Shaughnessy. As a Respiratory Therapist I worked at Forbes and Braddock General Hospitals where Dr. Shaughnessy was on staff. He also shared in our BGH girls softball team annual girls against the Doctors games. God be with all of his family. Rest In Peace Dr. S.
