Get togethers of the Xavier class of '66 will never be the same. Whether it was Mike leading us all in a robust "Sons of Xavier" or just a quiet moment together retelling a story from our school years. My heart goes out to your family and your friends Mike. My hope especially is that tranquility and peace come to Denise and Claire. May God Bless you.

I am so Sorry to hear about Mike.my heart is broken. I am in France with a Friend and coming home on June 19th. I feel terrible that I can not make the wake or the Funeral. I am sure you will give Mike and amazing send off. Denise there are no words to Thank You and Mike for everything you have both done for me to help me get through the worst days of my life. Everyone' life that Mike touched he brought so much love and happiness and Joe and I were Blessed to have the both of you in our lives. Mike you will always be loved and missed and never forgotten. I am sure you Joe and Buddy are all in Heaven holding Court , telling some great stories and having a grand old time. Give the Big Guy a Hug & a Kiss for me and tell him I love him and miss him, God only takes the best and there is no doubt you were the Best Friend Husband and Father.

Mike, you were a Cops Cop, who I had the privilege of knowing for many years! You were an extraordinary human being who touched the souls of many during your tour on earth! Mike, I'm so sorry we hadn't talked in years since I've left NYC. You were a great friend and I can't stop thinking about all the great times we had in Gallagher's and around the City. Mike you were the best , and I became a cop and a detective because of you ! We were from yorkville God Speed my brother and you were my rabbi lol and spent many a night at the bar!

I still remember having drinks at your Dads bar when we were to young to drink. Later on those late nights at Elaine's. We've been friends for a long time and the next drink we have together will hopefully be in Heaven. God Bless you Mike, you were a great cop and a better human being. Mike, You were a great Detective and a true friend. You always made us laugh.
Your stories will live on. You were an NYPD legend. I always enjoyed seeing you reporting on Channel 5 News and acting in some wonderful movies.
