We will always remember Mike as warm, friendly, a hard worker and a joker. He was taken way too young but I hope you are able to take comfort in the fact that his life on earth was not in vain and he achieved so much in the short time he had. I remember an energetic, kind, hardworking kid who I grew up with, travelling on the school bus.. a cheeky smile and a whole lot of love for his siblings. I'm so sad to hear of Michael's passing. My condolences to Michael's family... Much love xxxx Tash

Our love always Ancret

The first time I met Michael he was smiling behind the wheel of his boat on Wallagoot Lake. He seemed as happy on the water as he was on the land. My cautious daughter was riding behind the boat for the first time. He went slowly, kept an eye on her and gently introduced her to water sports. What a nice guy. So much to miss. Such a loss. So sorry. Ancret, Kassie, Mitchell and Ava, it is a gift to us all to see that same kindness in you all.

Such a loss for the family and the whole community. Rest in peace Michael, you will be remembered and missed. For Ancret, Kassie, Mitchell, Ava and the Shipton family, we are so very sorry. "Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it" - the Song of Solomon.

Our memories of mike and family are only happy ones we remember when mikes mum and dad bevy and bobby came with us on a trip to Tasmania and we stayed at mike and ancrets home at narnargoon and we were surprised when we found out that they were moving to candelo to the dairy farm to which bevy and bobby were very happy about and at that time we were living at brogo ,we have great memories of all of the shipton families and we have very high regard for them all,mike would go out of his way to help people and would expect nothing in return only the respect that he certainly deserved,since we moved back to Victoria we have visited the shiptons on various occasions but we still miss them all heaps and although we cannot be present in there time of need they are surely in our thoughts always.love and thoughts Len and Mina lister .marlo Victoria.
