Michael Anthony Simmons

Michael "Mike" Anthony Simmons born September 28, 1988, Mike was called to heaven on April 13, 2025. From Chicago, Mike attended Schurz High School, DeVry University, and later earned a Graduate degree from DePaul University. Mike's greatest strength was his perseverance through adversity-overcoming countless challenges throughout his life. He took immense pride in his work and deeply cherished his friendships. In his free time, he loved spending time with friends, casually enjoying video games, reading technical literature, and indulging in his passion for all things technology related. Most recently, Mike moved from Chicago to the Tampa Bay area to "work on his tan"-a joke that, if you knew him, was absolutely fitting, as he loved embracing life with humor. Mike is survived by his grandmother, Shirley, his mother Cynthia "Cindy", and his father Edward "Tony." He also leaves behind lifelong friends James, Chris, Chuck, Shawn, and Tony, who will forever hold his memory close.
