Sorry for your loss. Personally I lost a teacher, mentor, colleague, but most of all a friend. The sad time happening now can not out weigh all of the happiness achieved before hand.

Peggy and Snarey Family,
What a tremendous life Mike led. Its so beautiful to read how many lives he touched through coaching and teaching; his giving spirit and zest for life will continue to shine on through this legacy.
I will miss Mike on Thursday night golf league, as well as his mentorship, kindness and commradery. What a truly great person.
You're in my heart, and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Mr. Snarey was one of a kind!! He touched many lives!! I'm so glad I got to visit with him a few months ago. Even after high school Mr. and Mrs. Snarey made sure they attended all my major life events and that meant the world to me!!

Mr Snarey was by far one of my favorite teachers at Bridgeport. Always smiling, always willing to talk when I needed to chat. Years later I would run into him and Peggy around town and they both always remembered me by name, even 25 years after graduating. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family, and especially by his students and players. May he rest in peace. Mrs Snarey be comforted in knowing he was loved and respected by all of Bridgeport.

From the moment we met Mike down here in Florida, we knew he was a special person. His friendliness made him shine, and he always had a smile on his face. From that first year, he showed that he loved his family...Peggy, his children and her children, and he made no distinction...they were all his, and they were always foremost in his thoughts.
He loved playing golf and shuffleboard, and particularly loved a good joke. Mike was always fun to be around, and at the end of the day, loved a good soak in the hot tub. We always enjoyed his company, and will miss him greatly. Our thoughts are with Peggy and the family at this time.

I'm sure I speak for many when I say coach Snarey was simply the best. Loved and respected by students and staff alike and a great teacher. I was coached by him all through my Jr. High School years in both Football and Wrestling. He was patient and encouraging to all of the team. Rest In Peace "Coach", thank you for everything.

Coach always asked for and expected 100 percent of his players and wrestlers, nothing less. He was an amazing teacher as well, never without a smile, and forever helping "his kids", whatever they needed. "A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives" Jackie Robinson. Coach Snarey had such a positive impact on the lives of so many of the children he taught. I had the privilege of coaching with him the last few years before he would retire. A very sweet man that will be missed. See you on the other side Coach.
