Just as he was funny he was a great person. I will always owe him very much. I remember him constantly. His funny sayings and what he he taught me as his student in and out of class at USD. With his passing, an era has ended in the lives of many of us. Now it is time to pass the torch. I hope be able to help and have a positive impact on people's lives like he touched mine.

Thinking back to my years at USD, some of my favorite times in the classroom were with Dr. Stoddard. With a good number of my political science professors being of the Liberal variety, it was refreshing to have his political prospective. I loved listening to his stories and his quirky sense of humor. Thank you for the 'A" I got in your class. You will be missed.

I will always have the fondest memories of our times together during my years in college. Condolences to the McCanns and all of us who are missing Doc so much right now. What a wonderful example of a human we, and this world, have lost.

I am very sorry to hear of Doc's passing. My deepest condolences to the McCann family. May we all take solace in knowing that Doc now looks down upon us living our days in Reagan's "shining city upon a hill".
