As we approach the date you left us a year ago I still ache in my heart at the sense of loss I & everyone else feels.Only the Lord can fill that empty place & it still hurts not having you here with us.You must be so very proud of how well your family has done. I am so proud of them. They each have something special in their personality from you. I Love You & look forward to seeing you again!!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful warm sense of humor, your beautiful infectious laughter and quick loving wit with us all. I cherish every moment I and my family were blessed with you. You are my father figure, my brother, life long friend and champion. These are only words and they just don't do you justice. There is a huge chunk of my heart that goes with you and it will ache until we are together again. Oh, how I will miss you.....

I am deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing. He was one of the nicest people I have had the honor of knowing. Often I think of the great times I had at the family gatherings you guys had when I was young and I thank you for those memories. It was always a pleasure running into you and Mike around town. He will be deeply missed by all. Thinking of you and your family.

I've only known you a short time but I've always enjoyed playing cards with you. Your gentle spirit and your smile will surely be missed. I pray that Anthony and the rest of your family will continue to hold your spirit close and fulfill your hopes and dreams.

It has been nearly 45 years since I've seen Mike and his family, but many times I have thought of them. One of the recent entries in this guest book mentioned Mike's teachings to his children. I only hope that if any were from the relationship between Mike and me, that they were only good. My memories of Mike come from when we were only kids.

I don't remember when we first met, when the Stolfi family moved across the street from where we lived but as I remember it, many guys were older than I was, and it was great having a new friend to play with. As I've gotten older, I've wondered at times, if I may have ever picked on Mike and his brothers, and if so I can only blame it on, as they say, the "pecking order." I hope I was considered a good friend.

I remember walking by their house and hearing Mike's dad playing the accordian. That always sounded so good. I later realized how his family seemed really tight and close.

A few times in the last 15 years, I sometimes worked in St. Stephen's Church area and thought many times I would stop by the house to see if anybody from the Stolfi family is still living there. I never did but now I realize I should have, maybe getting the chance to see my old friend Mike once again.

For all his family, please know that I am sorry for your loss, and by reading this guest book, it is easy to see that Mike was truly loved. I too will miss him, just as though it were yesterday when we were friends!

We are deeply sadden to hear of Mikes passing. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you during this difficult time.
We will miss Mikes laugh, smiling face, his crazy jokes and most of all stories of his family which he treasured and loved dearly. He will be missed ever so much, but will never be forgotten.

It is seldom and such a rarity that we are blessed to find our true soul mates in this life on earth. That rarity was so very true for Mike and Jean. Jean prayed to our Heavenly Father to send her such a man and he did with Mike. They were a mirrored image of each other that drew their strength from one another. They both were and are beautiful Christians.
It is also very seldom that one witnesses such love…..I like so many others were honored to see that in Mike and Jean. When they were united in marriage they truly became one.
I was selfish to believe what was happening to Mike was only effecting his family and a few select friends…How wrong I was...I was in disbelief and felt a sense of honor when I witnessed the none stop of calls and the influx of people in and out of his home and his hospital room. He witnessed to all
He will be remembered as the Loving Soul Mate to Jean, a father of great teachings and love for his children, son and daughter in law and his beautiful grandchildren. He was a son, brother, brother in law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and a friend that always had time for us and never turned us away. But, most of all he will be remembered for the Love and Faith he had for Our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ our Savior.
He will be waiting for all of us with large open arms when it is our turn to go HOME.

We are praying for peace, comfort and love to surround you now and always. May your special memories of Mike always bring smiles to your face and warmth to your heart. God bless you and be with you.
