My sincerest condolences to Mike's family and friends as we think about the joy that fun times that we had with him.

Mike was really affected by the events of 9/11. He had a direct line of sight from their apartment in New Jersey. Later in the day, he and I spoke about the horrific day that had befallen New York. On that call, we agreed that we would speak to each other every 9/11 thereafter. On those calls, we would take stock of what was happening in our lives at that time.

I will miss those conversations.

Thanks for capturing Uncle Big Lou so well, and bringing back special memories. I will never forget his amazing cartoons. I didn't know they appeared in the Spectator. Even more impressive! Love, Cuzzin Jen
