I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to the Stroud family after the passing of their father, husband, brother, and grandfather.
I fondly remember Mike Stroud as my soccer coach from when I was 8 years old until maybe 16 years old. He was serious and with a great sense of humor. I still remember him trying to motivate us to play harder and the funny expressions he would use. And I also remember the great humility he demonstrated when he stepped down as coach saying that he had reached a point where we needed a more "professional" coach. Maybe he was right, maybe he wasn't, but the decision he made was impressive.
May the Almighty comfort you in these difficult times.

Funny, witty Mike was liked by everyone at the Dowd YMCA. He will be missed. Our deepest condolences go out to Deborah and family.
