Michael William Sullivan

Michael (Mike) William Sullivan, age 58 died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 28, 1966, in Louisville, KY to Michael J. and Catherine E. Sullivan.

Mike spent his formative years in both Louisville, KY and Hollywood, Florida. He never met a stranger, a trait started as a small child and followed him into adulthood. His infectious smile and charismatic personality will be missed by all that knew him.



During his high school years, he befriended most of the student body and after joining the football team, he ultimately met the entire faculty as well.

Mike attended Western Kentucky University, where most of his friends were on the football team. Through his friendships and his love for football, he developed a lifelong love for the Hilltoppers. Mike went on to complete his college education at Sullivan University.



Most of Mike's professional career was at Ford Motor Company, where he was known for his relentless work ethic and dedication to the company, colleagues, and friends.



Mike was a dedicated husband, father, brother, son, uncle, and friend. He loved spending time with his family and weekend trips to the family lake house skiing, swimming, fishing, or just cruising around in the old boat, "Jaws."



He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Joseph Sullivan. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Debbie, sons Brendan Sullivan and Nic Santillan, mother Catherine Sullivan (Mike), sister Cynthia A. Sullivan, nephew Sean Hussung, niece Rhianon Hussung, as well as several family members and friends.



A celebration of life will be held on May 18, 2024, from 3-8 pm at Jericho Rentals, 166 Old Jericho Road, Smithfield, KY 40068.
