Michael David "Mike" Sykes

Michael David Sykes, 60, of Meriden, CT, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, CT. He was born on June 5, 1963, in Enfield, CT, to Louella May Sykes and Richard L. Sykes, both of whom preceded him in death.

Michael was a talented musician and had a deep passion for music. He was an avid keyboardist, guitarist, and drummer, finding joy and solace in creating beautiful melodies. His love for music brought him and his listeners immense happiness throughout his life.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Mike was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Enfield, CT. He found comfort and strength in his faith and cherished the fellowship of his Lord and Savior.

Sadly, Mike battled cancer for a long time, and he passed away at Manchester Memorial Hospital peacefully with his family by his side. He faced his battle with courage and resilience, but he chose to keep it private. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.

Michael Sykes will be remembered for his musical talent, his faith, and his strength in the face of adversity. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all those who were fortunate to have known him.
