Debbie, I was so sad and shocked to learn of Mike´s passing. He was such a great guy and you two were always the dream couple. I know you are going to miss him terribly. Please know I am praying for you and sending my hugs. If you are ever in HS, please contact me. I am here for you, if you would just like to talk.

My husband & I met Mike when we were calling what was then the new Mariott & he happened to answer the phone. The hotel was not yet completed & we were trying to secure a nice place to stay as we attended the long Keeneland Thoroughbred Sale. What a blessing it was for us, that Mike was the one who answered the phone that day. He told me he'd have a first floor room ready for us & that was the beginning of our friendship. I can not express how wonderful Mike was to us. His genuineness & hospitality always made us feel at home. My heart is broken to hear of his passing. We are praying for all his family & friends, that God ministers His strength & peace to each of yoi. Rest easy Mike. You will trust be missed

Knew Mr. Tinker while he was hotel manager in Lexington. Always ready to help and NEVER grouchy about it.
Truely a good model for the rest of us.
