Remembering my brother this morning as 7 years have come and gone, and our precious mom passed into Heaven this past March. Didn“t always understand Mike, but my admiration for his taking stands for freedom, liberty, and the Constitution has grown. A privilege to call him my brother.

I knew him as the, now ex-husband of my cousin, Laura, and an intelligence and entrepreneurial spirited man who loved science fiction and all the possibilities that life has to offer. I also knew him as a man of vision and principle committed to freedom and the laws and bedrock upon which this nation was built. I will miss him more than I can say.

First heard of Mike through David Codrea, and after reading his SSI blog I became a faithful reader, and also enjoyed the videos of his speeches.
The country has lost a strong advocate for the 2nd, and also a leader who was not afraid to say what he meant, and meant what he said.

That message reverberated in Mike's work.
Because of that work, we do love and honor his memory and his message.
It is up to us to now to tackle the great task before us.
Restoring this great Republic might nigh be impossible.
But we owe it to our children and our grand children to at least try. And try I will. And try we must.
Rest in peace sir.
I pray that God comfort the Vanderboegh family in their time of loss and sorrow, and that many more find inspiration in his message.

I never had the honor of meeting Mike, but as a former ATF agent, I was well aware of his work exposing Fast and Furious. I am so fortunate to have met Mike at several rallies in OR and WA, attending one of his classes even having lunch with him after a few of these events. His was a towering mind, full of wisdom to all who would listen. Thankfully I did and I have to express my gratitude for opening my eyes about many things. I think of Mike along with David Codrea as the Thomas Paines of our era. I can imagine Mike deep in conversation and sharing a brandy with Jefferson, Madison, Samuel Adams, Patrick Henry, and others. I'd like to be a fly on the wall at that gathering of patriotic Americans.
