I grew up with Mike as one of the Sons of Dinuba. It was tragic learning of our loss years ago. Sadly, I learned of his passing 18 months afterward as I am 2300 miles from home (CA). Mike was the most wonderful person and those of us who met or knew him were truly blessed. We shall always remember him, as 1) he was such a memorable guy in his own right - your best friend upon meeting him & 2) we have daily reminders of our loss; as he is immortalized via the web.
I went to get ammo specs today on the Hornady website (3/28/22) after having served up a beer for him a few days ago (3/24) and whose photo is the background? Mike in his competition stance, such a wonderful tribute and reminder.
Those of us that knew him forever carry his memory & words of wisdom with us.
We miss you, Mike.
Always & Forever.

Woke up wanting to talk to you today. Still a very strange feeling. Miss you very much my friend. Best wishes to Maggie and your family.
I wonder if you kept those knives I sent you?
Hope you did and that you enjoyed them.

Mike was the President of our club (then IPSC) in Fresno in the 80's. I took a group class from him. I'll never forget his opening comment..."In the morning, I'll teach you how to shoot and in the afternoon, I'll teach you how to win!" RIP Mike and condolences to your family.
