I got to know Mike when I started working for Jeff Haupt in 1994. I always enjoyed being around Mike because he made you laugh. I appeared in front of him on many occasions as a lawyer and he was always fair and compassionate. I last saw him in Barberton Municipal Court when he was a visiting judge and he had not changed at all. He will be truly missed, but I have many great memories of him that I will always cherish.

My heart goes out to you and your family. ❤ My deepest sympathy to all of you! Michael was a kind and generous man, always looking for
the good in everyone.

The Weigand Family: Deepest condolences! It was an honor and privilege to know Judge Weigand and work in his court over many many years. He was a man of intelligence and integrity. Very compassionate with a great sense of humor. What a laugh he had!!.

Mike was a Man’s man, a Great Lawyer, And a distinguished Judge who just wanted to be ordinary. He always looked for the Good in people, and always did his best no matter what he was involved in. He was one of my Long-standing friends who would always step to the plate to help at a moments notice. Truly made his mark in the Summit County Community and throughout the Country.
