Michael White Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 13, 2025.
Michael Patrick White, 56, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, in Coatesville, Indiana alongside his loved ones. He was born on June 30, 1968, in Indianapolis. Michael lived a life marked by dedication to his craft, deep love for his family, and an unwavering sense of humor that brought joy to those around him.

A graduate of Danville High School in Danville, Indiana, Michael later obtained an associate's degree in biblical theology. His faith remained a guiding force throughout his life. As a Christian, he carried his beliefs with humility and strength.

Professionally, Michael was an exceptionally talented craftsman with a particular passion for flooring and woodwork. He approached each project with care and precision, transforming spaces into works of art. His commitment to excellence and the pride he took in his work earned him lasting respect within his field. Clients and colleagues alike recognized him not only for his skill but also for the heart he poured into every job.

Michael's personal life was rich with the things he loved most-music, motorcycles, hard work, and time spent with those closest to him. Whether playing the piano, strumming a guitar, or keeping rhythm on the drums, music was one of his great joys. He also found freedom on two wheels and cherished the open road on his motorcycle. Even when working-something he genuinely enjoyed-he found purpose and fulfillment.

Family meant everything to Michael. He is lovingly remembered by Ann Cutshall-his person and Sissy-who formed a special relationship with her biological brother. He leaves behind his daughter, Kayla Stafford; his sons, Kody White and Brandon White; daughter and son, Tessa and J.P.; nephews, Keifer King and Dale Searl; great-nephew Jude Searl; lifelong love, Tari Gibson; Uncle Don White; Uncle Willie and Aunt Donna; his many beloved grandchildren; several biological siblings and an adopted sister that he grew up with, Shari and his 4 nieces; a special friend & co-worker, Richard Briggs; his two dogs, Bella and Millie; and several other loved ones, both family and friends. Each held a special place in Michael's heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilma and Larry White; brother-in-law Kenny King Jr.; and granddaughter Layla Grace; and other loved friends and family.

Michael will be remembered as a funny and caring man whose stubborn streak was matched only by the depth of his love for family and friends. His legacy lives on through the memories shared by those who knew him best-the laughter he sparked, the craftsmanship he left behind, and the love he gave so freely.

May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 28, 2025, from 04:00 PM to 09:00 PM at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park; 4521 Gibbs Rd. Danville, IN. This will be a peaceful and relaxed gathering, per Michael's wishes. Please join us for food, drinks, fishing, trails, disc golf, and more! Guests may come and go at any time. There will be live music to conclude the celebration, featuring Bob. All of our love to you, Michael Thank you.
