I Had not thought of her in years she came to me in a dream last week It was one of those dreams that was more real than not I saw her smile, I looked down at her she was looking up at me, we were about to imbrace when I woke up. It was like she was there with me. it had been 35 years since I saw her last I later in the day still thinking of her and the dream that seemed so real. I looked on the internet to see if I could find any information about where she might be. Thats when I read of her sudden passing one week prior to my dream. I guess she just came by to say good bye. I thank God she did.

We were roommates in the early 80s - out on the wonderful Locust Guard Farm outside of Franklin... Golden years, from the beginning when we painted the house and got to know the Ring family, good people out that way (esp. the guys in the farmhands' house), Big Daddy and his cows. A lot of good walks, talks, getting in the river on a hot summer day, making a fire on a cold winter one, good friends (some who joined us as roommates for a time), gardening, good food, drinking, dancing, laughter, good music - all the things you do in your twenties. We both moved on to other work and places, but could pick right back up when we met again, the way friends do. I didn't see or hear from you that often, TB, but you'll always have a big place in my heart. So sorry you had to leave so soon!

I met Terri in nashville when my sister worked for PP. She & I & another friend took a memorable road trip down to New Orleans. We later shared many of the same friends in that city. We've lost her too soon. I'm so glad I knew her.

How heartbreaking that the world has lost such a remarkable, warm, vibrant woman. Terri was my dear friend even though we had lost contact with each other. I didn't know she had moved back home and she didn't know I had moved to Nashville.
Our days together began when we were at different PP affiliates, then when she became ED of TAPPA, our friendship grew. So bright, so good, so caring was Terri.
I remember visiting her in New Orleans and her teaching a small dinner party group at her home how to eat crawfish.
Her commitment to women's rights and reproductive freedom -- how hard she worked!
She left the world such a better place and was a true model for all of us. To Terri's family and her many, many friends, my deepest sympathy.

What a life Terri lived! I've known Terri since 1st grade and always admired her for her spirit and dedication to a cause. She made us laugh, she made us cheer for our school and she made us strive for a better world. My prayers and thoughts are with Kenny and Cheryl in the coming days. The Class of "69" will always remember this remarkable young woman.

The Gold Rush opened on Jun 17, 1974. I spent many afternoons there with Terri and a host of friends from Planned Parenthood, Vanderbilt, state government, media, and other "regulars". I will always fondly remember her and the many good times we shared.

I was shocked to hear of losng Terri.
Although, after graduation we went our separate ways, it appears that Terri led a happy and good life and touched many along the way.

I to remember Terri from Glencliff. She was a year behind me but I can say she was my friend. She always had a kind word for everyone and a smile that made you feel good. I'm so sorry that she couldn't have lived a little longer to do more of God's work. But Im sure she will continue to do it from above. My heart goes out to her family. You should be very proud of her. Deborah (Cynthia Good) Wheeler

Terri and I went to Glencliff together. She was always so full of life. Even though we lost contact thru the years, it is obvious that she continued to live life to it's fullest, and will be missed by all that knew and loved her. My prayers go out to her family.

I was honored to attend school with Terri from grade school until Class of '69. Her gift of commanding and delighting attention was always something I admired. I am grateful that she "used her power for good" all over the world. It was shocking to hear that her time on earth was cut short, and I offer my condolences to her family.

Terri will always be my friend. She gave me strength when times were bad, confidence that tomorrow would be better and, of course, the joy of living each day.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Terri's death last week. Terri & I worked together at Planned Parenthood of Nashville. We had a wonderful group of women friends there and even though we didn't see much of each other the last few yeatrs, our friendships stayed strong. Terri was a remarkable woman and I am honored to have known her. I have many great memories of laughter, political activism, and sharing southern food! My deepest condolences to all her extended family and friends.

I am so sorry to learn of Terri's passing. I remember her as someone full of laughter and life and the time to be nice to others. As a sophomore in a new school at the start of her senior year at Glencliff, she took the time to make me feel welcome and I have always appreciated that.

We have something that holds us together,
Something that made us both better,
Something called being a friend,
It makes the fun never end
And it helps me to know that when
I am down and blue
Because you're my friend I can count on you.
We run through life without a care
Would anyone try to part us?
They wouldn't dare.
And now the time comes for you to go,
I really want for you to know,
That even though your life has come to an end,
I will never stop being your FRIEND!
Remember, I love you!
